Perfect! So if any of you are looking for a threaded end to your shift lever this is the solution. ![]() It came in and I measured it against my JK shift lever. So I went ahead and ordered an 05-06 TJ shift lever (52059664AF). And then I thought perhaps an 06 TJ shift lever could fit the JK? Looking at the parts diagrams it looked possible. I started thinking that I could cut the tip off my JK shift lever and thread it to 10x1.5 just like my TJ had. ![]() What I really wanted was the threaded end on the shift lever like my TJ had. I know it was the knob because without a knob it was silent. Too much slop in the knob and no matter what I tried I still had a rattle in the knob. The aftermarket knob felt great but the insert that they give you to best fit the knob and the set screws were not working. So I swapped out the shift knob for an aftermarket knob. ![]() I have a 2014 JK Sahara with manual transmission.
